Kia’s award-winning three-row electric SUV comes in five trim levels with four impressive powertrains, so you can find the combination of power, efficiency, and luxury that’s just right for your family. Keep reading to find out which 2025 Kia EV9 trim level is your ideal choice.

1. Light

The EV9’s entry-level Light trim level comes with premium features like 19-inch black and machined finish alloy wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a Smart Power Liftgate that opens hands-free. It has a 76.1 kWh lithium-ion battery and permanent magnet synchronous motor for 215 horsepower, 258 lb.-ft. of torque, 230 miles of range, and efficiency of an EPA-estimated 88 MPGe combined.

The Light has large, vibrant displays, including a touchscreen with navigation and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Its eight-speaker audio system includes family-friendly features like Passenger Talk to help you communicate with rear-seat passengers easily.  

2. Light Long Range

For maximum driving range and efficiency, the Light Long Range adds a 99.8 kWh battery and an electric motor that generates 201 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. With 89 MPGe combined efficiency, this model can travel up to 304 miles on a full charge. Inside, it has seating for six, a sunroof, and a HomeLink garage door opener.

3. Wind

The seven-passenger Wind gives drivers premium performance and luxury, with all-wheel drive and an electric motor that produces 379 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft. of torque. It can tow up to 3,500 pounds and travels up to 280 miles on a full charge, with 83 MPGe combined efficiency. Wind cabin upgrades include dual sunroofs and embossed SynTex seat trim.

4. Land

The Land builds on the Wind’s impressive powertrain and features with upgrades like 20-inch black and machined finish alloy wheels, gloss black exterior trim, and a driver’s seat relaxation setting to keep you comfortable while the EV9 charges. Its six-passenger cabin is made even more comfortable with heated and ventilated second-row seats, mood lighting, and quilted SynTex seat trim. Driver assistance features get an upgrade in the Land, too, including a Surround View Monitor that makes parking easier than ever.

5. GT-Line

The GT-Line provides heart-pounding performance with 379 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, which propel the EV9 from 0 to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds. It’s also incredibly efficient, with 270 miles of range and 80 MPGe combined efficiency. In addition to the Land’s premium features, the GT-Line comes with a premium cloth headliner, exclusive GT-Line body styling, and 21-inch black and dark silver alloy wheels. Its Remote Smart Parking Assist 2 can even park your EV9 automatically.
