The EV9 is making drivers rethink everything they thought they knew about electric vehicles. Compatible with DC 350 kW fast chargers, the EV9 can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in less than 25 minutes. Its fully charged EV9 battery gives you as many as 304 miles of open road to explore before you need to stop to recharge. There are five EV9 trim levels to choose from with four unique battery and motor combinations.
The most affordable model, the Light RWD, starts off the EV9 lineup with 215 horsepower, 258 lb.-ft. of torque, and an EPA-estimated 88 MPGe efficiency. Its 76.1 kWh lithium-ion battery gives it 230 miles of range and recharges in under 7 hours with an at-home Level 2 charger. The Light Long Range RWD provides 304 miles of range with its 99.8 kWh battery, while the ultra-powerful GT-Line AWD delivers 379 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
A First-Class Cabin
Inside the EV9’s three-row cabin, seats are trimmed with SynTex synthetic leather, and a tri-zone auto climate control system keeps the cabin temperature just right for the driver, front passenger, and rear passengers. Seven-passenger seating with a second-row bench is standard, and shoppers can also choose available second-row captain’s chairs with total seating for six. One-touch sliding and folding second-row seats make it easy to for third-row passengers to get in and out.
The EV9 comes with lots of convenient features, like its Smart Power Liftgate that provides hands-free access to the cargo area. You can store up to 20.2 cubic feet of luggage, gear, or groceries in the EV9’s spacious cargo area. There’s also a front trunk that provides up to 3.2 cubic feet of hidden storage space. To carry larger items, just fold down the rear seats to create up to 81.7 cubic feet of space.
Next-Level Technology Features
With the EV9’s standard Digital Key 2.0, you can turn your compatible smartphone into a virtual key fob and share your digital key with friends and family with just a text message. The EV9’s infotainment system also comes with some family-friendly tech features, like Passenger Talk. This intercom system uses the vehicle’s speakers to project your voice to the rear of the cabin so you won’t have to turn around for passengers to hear you clearly.
