The 2024 Kia EV6 offers plenty of style with its uniquely gorgeous exterior design, an equal amount of comfort in the roomy cabin, truly impressive driving dynamics, and an almost unbelievable number of safety features. No matter which model you choose, including the lowest trim levels, the line delivers an incredible overall EV experience.
Design
The sleek futuristic exterior lines and 19-inch alloy wheels are enough by themselves to make this lineup stand out among its competitors. However, the number of desirable standard features even in the base model put this electric vehicle in a class of its own. Sound-absorbing glass keeps the cabin quiet, while convenience features abound, such as rain-sensing wipers, high-beam assist, and power-folding mirrors with turn signals.
Dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats provide extra comfort, but the driver is particularly pampered. Not only is there integrated memory for the driver’s seat and outside mirror, but the seat is also power-adjustable eight ways with two-way lumbar adjustment.
Performance
The base model Light trim has a 58.0 kWh battery with a range of up to 232 miles and ultra-fast charging capability. It delivers 167 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. There are steering wheel-mounted paddles and four driving styles from which to choose: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow. Rear, and Snow. Rear-wheel drive, push-button start, and a Smart Key remote are all standard, although all-wheel drive is available.
Technology
The Kia EV6 Light has a six-speaker audio system and a brilliant 12.3-inch instrument display among the gauge cluster that delivers essential information to the driver. The infotainment system features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM Satellite radio, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hotspot which requires a subscription. Kia has a smart connectivity system that integrates with compatible smartphones, smart speakers, and smartwatches. A Kia Access App allows you to pre-heat or pre-cool your vehicle.
There is a USB data port in the front console, as well as two front USB charging ports. There are also two USB charging ports in the second row. In addition to cruise control, the steering wheel has mounted controls for audio, hands-free phone, and drive mode selection.
