Whether you’re discovering the hottest new restaurant or heading off the beaten path to enjoy the scenery, the 2025 Kia Sorento is the perfect way to travel. Its three rows provide flexible and comfortable seating for up to seven, and its available off-road trims give you the confidence to take on nearly any terrain. It even comes with all the tech you need to make every trip safer and more convenient.

Get to Know the 2025 Kia Sorento

The Sorento is available in eight trims, each with its own performance and comfort features. LX and S trims are powered by a 191-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, with EPA-estimated efficiency of up to 26 MPG combined. The other six trims feature a turbocharged engine that produces 281 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque and averages up to 23 MPG combined. No matter which trim you choose, you can tailor your drive with Drive Mode Select’s modes, including Eco and Sport.

The Sorento’s second-row seats are available as captain’s chairs or a bench seat, giving it a total seating capacity of six or seven passengers. Both second-row options include a one-touch sliding and folding feature that makes it easy for third-row passengers to enter and exit. The cargo area has 12.6 cubic feet of space, which expands to 75.5 cubic feet when you fold both rows of rear seats. There’s also a dual-level cargo floor that keeps items hidden.

Adventure Further in the X-Pro

Drivers who prefer rugged trails to paved highways will want to choose the ultra-capable Sorento X-Pro, with standard features like high-utility roof rails and an increased towing capacity of 4,500 pounds. The X-Pro comes standard with Torque-Vectoring All-Wheel Drive with a center-locking differential, plus all-terrain tires to keep you in control in slippery situations. This trim also features a unique front and rear fascia, 17-inch Matte Black alloy wheels, and X-Pro embossed front headrests.

Safe and Convenient Driver Assistance Technology

Cutting-edge technology is standard on the Sorento, including a long list of driver assistance features that help keep you and your family safe. Its Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist detects vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists in the road ahead and warns you when a collision is predicted so you can react quickly. The system’s Junction Turning Detection can even help you avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle when you’re turning at an intersection.

The Sorento also comes with convenient driver assistance technologies, like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. When you activate this system, it automatically detects the vehicle ahead of yours and adjusts your speed to maintain a safe distance. If traffic stops moving entirely, it can bring your Sorento to a complete stop.
